Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The first day of the 38th edition of the Luanda International Fair (FILDA) was marked by the inauguration ceremony of the event by the President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, who highlighted, among other matters, incentives as a Government strategy to support the private sector of national economy.<\/b><\/p>\n

Also noteworthy was the President’s interaction with the exhibitors, as he toured the largest business showcase in the country.<\/p>\n

Likewise, the statements by the Minister of Economy and Planning, Ma\u0301rio Caetano, who pointed to the hypothesis of FILDA serving as a business hub in Africa and a booster for exports of \u201cMade in Angola\u201d products.<\/p>\n

Also noteworthy was the crowd that flocked to the venue, as well as the long and slow queue at the entrance.<\/p>\n

It was noted, as a result of the delay in the act of entry, some disorder of exhibitors and visitors who sought to enter outside the establishment.<\/p>\n

The day was also used for networking (contacts) between exhibitors and visitors.<\/p>\n

The record registration of 1302 exhibitors, reaching the maximum capacity of the exhibition area, constitutes another dominant note of the fair on this first day.<\/p>\n

FILDA runs until the 22nd of July, in the Special Economic Zone (ZEE). This year, the event is guided by the motto \u201cDigital economy, the new world frontier\u201d.<\/p>\n

National and foreign exhibitors are participating, including German, Portuguese, Italian, Indonesian, Turkish and Japanese.<\/p>\n
