Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister Counselor of the American Embassy in Angola, Mary Emma Arnold, highlighted in Luanda, the growth of diplomatic and economic relations with Angola in 30 years of partnership and with more than 70 companies operating in the country.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking on the day of the United States of America at the 38th edition of the Luanda International Fair (FILDA), he underlined that growth allows producing results for the people of both countries.<\/p>\n

Our partners, he continued, especially Chevron and Exxon, create tens of thousands of jobs in Angol<\/p>\n

He said that there are companies working in various sectors, creating clean energy, technology and other activities in Angol.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, he stressed that he participated in the signing ceremony of the agreement that the American government intends to finance an amount of 250 million American dollars<\/p>\n

In his view, the Lobito corridor is one of the most important infrastructure projects that Angola has<\/p>\n

The 38th edition of the Luanda International Fair (FILDA) takes place in the Special Economic Zone (ZEE), a space that receives the FILDA label, with the participation of 1,302 exhibitors from around 15 countries.<\/p>\n

The event takes place under the motto \u201cDigital economy, the new world frontier\u201d, with the participation of the business area of \u200b\u200bthe Embassy of the United States of America, marking the debut of this country in the event.<\/p>\n

Portugal, Italy, Indonesia, Turkey, Germany, Japan, among others, are also part of the range of countries that will exhibit at FILDA 202<\/p>\n

It should be remembered that the 37th edition of FILDA took place from the 16th to the 20th of July 2022, at the ZEE, in an area of \u200b\u200b21 thousand square meters, having brought together 629 exhibitors and 15 countries, and received more than 32 thousand visitors.
