Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Three hundred projects of Micro, Small and Medium-sized companies existing in the municipality of Mbanza Kongo, province of Zaire, will be able, until December this year, to benefit from funding from the Society of Microcredits \u201cKixiCre\u0301dito\u201d, which this Friday, inaugurated its first branch in the district.<\/b><\/p>\n

The projects to be funded are estimated at 200 million kwanzas, with emphasis on actions included in the Informal Economy Reconversion Program (PREI), designed by the Angolan Government.<\/p>\n

The maximum value of the microcredit is seven million kwanzas, and the amortization period is 24 months, with the interest rate fixed at 1.67% per month, also covering small entrepreneurial initiatives outside the PREI.<\/p>\n

The chairman of the Board of Directors of KixiCre\u0301dito, Joaquim Catinda, in statements to the press, explained that the service will not be exclusive to PREI agents.<\/p>\n

He underlined that any entrepreneurial activity, from motorcycle taxis, canteens, small-scale agriculture and other small-scale economic initiatives are welcome to finance your company.<\/p>\n

To access financing, according to the person in charge, the user must have an economic activity in operation, stressing that his company is in charge of formalizing the other administrative procedures.<\/p>\n

With the inauguration of this branch in Mbanza Kongo, the second in the province of Zaire, the first in Soyo, opened in 2009, KixiCe\u0301dito now has 35 service points throughout the national territory.<\/p>\n

KixiCre\u0301dito is a business partner, Sociedade de Microcre\u0301ditos, licensed in 2008 by the National Bank of Angola (BNA), whose main role is to grant microcredits to Micro, Small and Medium entrepreneurs, with the aim of boosting their small businesses.<\/p>\n

The inaugural act was attended by the head of the provincial department of Zaire of the National Institute for the Support of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM), Maria dos Anjos Wazika, who praised the initiative.<\/p>\n

According to the official, the now-open agency will allow local economic agents, members of the PREI and others, to benefit from financial incentives to galvanize their activities, as long as they comply with the requirements established by the creditor institution.<\/p>\n
