Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The 38th edition of the Luanda International Fair (FILDA) exceeded the expectations of many exhibitors in terms of organization, deals signed, contacts made, disclosure of brands and company names.<\/p>\n

This is the appreciation of the exhibitors interviewed at FILDA, which took place from the 18th to the 22nd of July in the Economic and Special Zone (ZEE) Luanda\/Bengo.<\/p>\n

Rolf Mendelsohn, main manager of Paratus, an Angolan technology and telecommunications company, said that he was very happy for the contacts and for the fact that the event was very busy.<\/p>\n

According to the businessman, this edition of FILDA exceeded the company’s expectations in terms of visitors, customers and potential customers who visited the company’s stand.<\/p>\n

In the same vein, Ta\u0302nia Zau, Chicoil’s commercial manager, said that the fair was very productive for her company, as they signed contracts with companies and made many contacts with potential clients, stating that “we received clients and potential clients at our stand, as well as visitors. This fair was very good. It was innovative”.<\/p>\n

“We are extremely” satisfied with the participation of your company and with that of other exhibitors due to the level of participation that the fair had. All were moved,” said Osmar Dinau Henriques, a technician at the National Maritime Agency.<\/p>\n

For you, this fair surpassed the objectives of your institution. “We didn’t come to sell, but to let people know who we are. We are a state institution. And that was achieved”.<\/p>\n

For ENSA, the event was very profitable, because the company was able to publicize the products and services that brought them to FILDA, said the strategic and digital marketing technician, Suzeneide de Sousa.<\/p>\n

“We came with the aim of making an impact on people with our services. We managed to attract more than two thousand people to our stand”, he said, noting that they publicized the Yami Health service – insurance starting at 30 thousand a year.<\/p>\n

According to Suzeneide, the company’s assessment of its participation in FILDA is very positive, because it even managed to make sales.<\/p>\n

In turn, BIC bank Marketing and Communication director, Victor Mendes, said that they went to FILDA with the aim of attracting more customers, making known products and services and contacting regular customers.<\/p>\n

Taking into account the theme of the fair, linked to digitization, he said, they took Multicaixa cards to distribute to customers who requested it.<\/p>\n

Other exhibitors pointed to the country’s current economic situation as one of the reasons for the drop in sales in this edition of FILDA.<\/p>\n

That’s what Maria Gusma\u0303o, a cosmetics trader, said. “My products were approved in terms of quality but people thought they were expensive and I didn’t get many sales”, justified the interlocutor.<\/p>\n

Exhibitor Joa\u0303o Chaves, from Plastic Grupo, informed that sales were below expectations due to the increase in product prices, but he hopes that things will improve, because in past editions his products were much requested by companies and individuals.<\/p>\n

However, the visitors also spoke about the price of the products.<\/p>\n

For example, Paulo Jorge, one of the visitors, said that this edition was well organized, but the prices of goods were high, which made it impossible for him to buy almost anything.<\/p>\n

Another visitor who expected to find promotional prices for products at the fair is Dulce Maria, but was turned down, said the interlocutor, hoping that the fairs are held at the beginning of each month so that citizens can shop.<\/p>\n

More than 1,300 national and foreign exhibitors participated in this 8th edition. The event had a daily average of 15,000 visitors .<\/p>\n
