Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The aspects of social development related to the lack of water, energy, access roads, high levels of delinquency and prices of the basic food basket were the main concerns of the sellers of the \u201cCatinton\u201d market, presented Wednesday, to the provider of justice, Florbela Arau\u0301jo. <\/b><\/p>\n

The sellers spoke during the Ombudsman’s visit to the market, from where he heard, in detail, the concerns of the sellers and other popular people from the Antenov 57 neighborhood, known as Catinton, located in the municipality of Luanda, in the Maianga district.<\/p>\n

The degrading state of access roads, hygienic and working conditions in the market, lack of water and policing, which fuels the wave of delinquency, were other concerns raised by those present.<\/p>\n

Concerns that afflict the neighborhood also include domestic violence, evasion of parenthood, insufficient teachers in public school 1160 and the need for clarification on Social Security and Financial Education.<\/p>\n

On the part of the delegation, headed by Florbela Arau\u0301jo, there was a promise to take the concerns and present them to the superior offices.<\/p>\n

As part of his trip to the district, a lecture was given on \u201cthe role and function of the Ombudsman in defending the rights of citizens\u201d.<\/p>\n

Florbela Arau\u0301jo highlighted the historical and institutional aspects of the Ombudsman’s Office, having also addressed the duty of cooperation of the state’s central and local administration bodies, as well as the Role of the Ombudsman in Defending the Rights of Merchants.<\/p>\n
