Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of State for Economic Coordination, Jose\u0301 de Lima Massano, reaffirmed this Friday that Angola will maintain the course of reforms that contribute to the sustainable and inclusive economic growth of the country.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to Jose\u0301 de Lima Massano, Angola maintains a course of reform that tends to improve the business environment, establishing a macro-economic framework capable of offering stability and predictability, a legal system that provides security to business and market rules that favor healthy competition , competitiveness and innovation.<\/p>\n

The minister, who was speaking at the opening of the Angola-China Business Forum, referred that a set of measures to stimulate and boost the real economy, of goods made in Angola in public investment projects, had recently been announced.<\/p>\n

\u201cDespite still being heavily dependent on the oil sector, we have privileged natural conditions for the development of a broad and diversified economy, a broad development base with an emphasis on food security to give consistency to the objectives of sustainable development, whether meeting the needs of citizens , or creating more opportunities for income generation and social inclusion,\u201d he underlined.<\/p>\n

The binomial between economic growth and social development, according to the official, is the premise of sustainability of nations, which is why he appealed to the participants that during the reinforcement of business actions and formation of new partnerships to play the social role that is reserved for them , while business women and men.<\/p>\n

He appealed for the need for investment and the knowledge of participating companies to gain new markets for operating opportunities, for the reinforcement of partnerships, allowing to count on more investments for food production for the provision of housing for the manufacturing industry, commerce, development of logistic chains , development support , ore exploration. in training and professional training.<\/p>\n

Trade between Angola and China<\/p>\n

Last year, the volume of trade between Angola and China was around US$24 billion, according to Chinese ambassador Gong Thao, who was also speaking at the opening ceremony.<\/p>\n

The ambassador stated that Angola is China’s second largest trading partner in Africa, after South Africa, and that his country is Angola’s largest partner, as a result of the existing strategic partnership agreement.<\/p>\n

He informed that the result is due to more than 400 companies operating in Angola in the most diverse areas of investment such as industry, agriculture, technology, civil construction and others.<\/p>\n

He said that his country has actively participated in the promotion of private investment in Angola, in the growth of the economy, increase and generation of national wealth, expansion of family income and the dynamics of the economy”, he said, underlining, then, that such a reality it has also provided an opportunity to foster entrepreneurship and employability.<\/p>\n

Signature of memorandum of understanding<\/p>\n

The event served for the signing of three memorandums of understanding between the company Carrinho Enterprise and CITT – on the promotion of the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) and on the promotion of the free zone of integrated development of Barra do Dande.<\/p>\n
