Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Thirty individuals who over the years have distinguished themselves in favor of the development of Cunene province were distinguished this Saturday night, by the local government, in a ceremony guided by the governor Gerdina Didalelwa.<\/b><\/p>\n

At the event, current and former figures linked to the history of the province, education and teaching sectors, politics, community activism, journalism, public security, business, sports, culture, among others, were recognized.<\/p>\n

The honorees received diplomas and awards, highlighting the former teacher and director of the first high school in the province, between 1998 and 2015, Adriano Lomboleni, who expressed satisfaction with the recognition of the work done.<\/p>\n

In turn, the politician Elias Satioyamnba stated that a tribute is always a recognition of what has been done, stressing that the diploma constitutes an incentive for people to continue to give their best in favor of the development of society.<\/p>\n

The commander of the Civil Protection and Firefighter Services, Paulo Calunga, said it was a unique moment, stressing that the act represents a greater commitment and responsibility of the profession to give life and save lives.<\/p>\n

For the press, TPA journalists, Walter Marcelino, and RNA, Anto\u0301nio Hifikepunhe, were recognized for their commitment and dedication in addressing and disseminating matters related to the circumscription.<\/p>\n

The journalists characterized the award as an element that will boost the class in the assigned tasks.<\/p>\n

Jose\u0301 Ventura was distinguished as businessman of the year, while in sport, chess player Renelsa Anto\u0301nio was honored and in culture Dino Eranque.<\/p>\n

The gala was enlivened by the musicians Robertinho and Legalize, who enlivened those present.<\/p>\n

The festivities of the 53rd anniversary of the province of Cunene, mark the separation of the region from the then Administrative Council of Hui\u0301la, on the 10th of July 1970.<\/p>\n
