Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The president of the League of Fishing, Agriculture and Salt Associations of Angola (LAPASA), Jorge Hila\u0301rio de Sousa, defended the need for the Head of the Executive Branch, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, to guide measures to prevent the disappearance of some marine species.<\/b><\/p>\n

Jorge Hila\u0301rio de Sousa provided this information, after being received by the President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, within the framework of the audiences that the Head of State granted (Thursday) to representatives of business associations.<\/p>\n

“There are several (marine) species at risk. This means that if there are no concrete measures to safeguard these resources, we could have very dark days for fishing”, stated the leader of LAPASA.<\/p>\n

Of the endangered species, Jorge Hila\u0301rio de Sousa pointed out the mackerel fish, the corvina, the caxuxu, the swordfish and sardines, the latter, he continued, with very low frequency on the Angolan coast.<\/p>\n

The main focus of interaction between the Holder of Executive Power and representatives of the business class is the search for ideas and consensus to plan actions aimed at mitigating the effects of the current financial and economic situation in the country.<\/p>\n

By the way, the Head of State received, on separate occasions, at the Presidential Palace, Rui Santos, from the National Association of Poultry Farmers (ANAVI), Manuel Pacavira, Association of Cement Industries of Angola (AICA), and Cle\u0301ber Correia, Association of Real Estate Professionals of Angola (APIMA).<\/p>\n

With the same purpose Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o spoke with Ramiro Barreira, from the Association of Hotels and Resorts of Angola (AHRA), Anto\u0301nio Pacavira, from the National Association of Private Education (ANEP), and Henriqueta Carvalho, from the Federation of Entrepreneurial Women of Angola (FEMEA) .<\/p>\n

The Statesman also spoke with the president of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Angola (AJEA), Alfredo Cumbi, and with the leader of the International Forum of Young People with Embassies (FUE), Clinton Matias.<\/p>\n
