Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>At least 3,320 Identity Cards, out of the 5,851 issued between January and June of this year, are yet to be collected at the identification post in the municipality of Caa\u0301la, Huambo province.<\/b><\/p>\n

The information was provided today, Friday, by the head of the local identification post, Domingos Duarte Tchissingui, who appealed to citizens to go to the institution in order to receive the respective identification documents.<\/p>\n

He informed that the technical team intends to create other mechanisms that allow citizens to permanently consult their documents, after issuance, to avoid cases of the kind.<\/p>\n

Domingos Tchissingui said that the technicians at the identification post, in partnership with the Administration of the municipality of Caa\u0301la, organized, between 31 July and 4 of the current month, a massive campaign to deliver abandoned ID Cards, to reach users who eventually refused to lift the document.<\/p>\n

During the campaign, according to the person in charge, 597 Identity Cards were given to the respective users, who pointed to forgetfulness as the reason for abandoning the documents.<\/p>\n

He recalled that the maximum period for collecting the BI, after issuing it, is only 30 days.<\/p>\n

The massive campaign for the delivery of Identity Cards took place in front of the Benguela Railway (CFB) station in the municipality of Caa\u0301la.<\/p>\n
