Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Hundreds of MPLA militants, in the municipality of Icolo e Bengo, walked this Saturday through the streets of Bom Jesus commune, in support of the leadership of the President of the Republic and the party, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o.<\/b><\/p>\n

The event took the form of a mass political act with declarations of support for the President of the Republic and the MPLA.<\/p>\n

According to the first municipal secretary of the MPLA, in Icolo e Bengo, Joa\u0303o de Almeida, the people of his municipality have a lot of admiration for President Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, which is why they unconditionally support his leadership.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, he advised the militants to remain confident and hopeful in the President’s purposes, who is “excited to solve the people’s problems”.<\/p>\n

He appealed to young people to remain vigilant, to refuse invitations to participate in acts that are harmful to healthy social coexistence and to manipulate citizens.<\/p>\n

“We must all be imbued with the spirit that society only develops if there is peace and harmony and that the people participate in solving their problems”, said the politician.<\/p>\n

At the end of the activity, the militants offered basic food baskets to needy families.<\/p>\n

The act was attended by monitoring groups from the political bureau and the Central Committee of the party.<\/p>\n
