Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Angolan ambassador to Ethiopia, Miguel Bembe, said in Addis Ababa that Africa and the world need a new generation of leaders with deep diversified scientific knowledge, adapted to the realities of their countries and continents.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Angolan representative at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) made the statement at the graduation ceremony of a higher education institution called \u201cNew Generation University College\u201d.<\/p>\n

The diplomat defended the need for African countries to form their own cadres, aligned with the ideas of the leaders who proclaimed independence, freeing them from what he considered a colonial yoke.<\/p>\n

Among the new graduates of the \u201cNew Generation University College\u201d, a private higher education institution in Ethiopia, founded in 2002 by academic Matthew Gichile Tura, the Angolans Anto\u0301nio Lamas Benedito Xavier and Andre\u0301 Sozinho Paulo So\u0301crates stand out.<\/p>\n

The first completed a master’s degree in Global Studies, International Relations and Diplomacy, while the second graduated in the same specialty.<\/p>\n

Lieutenant General Anto\u0301nio Lamas is the Chief of Staff of the African Standby Force (FAEA). Andre\u0301 So\u0301crates is a Lieutenant Colonel and works as an analyst for the region. Both carry out missions in the African Union.<\/p>\n
