Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The governor of Hui\u0301la, Nuno Mahapi, Tuesday, appealed to the local population to show solidarity and hospitality towards the more than five thousand visitors who came to the province, for the 4th edition of the Feira dos Munici\u0301pios e Cidades de Angola ( FMCA), which starts this Thursday, in Lubango.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking to the press this evening, the governor stated that this is the only way Hui\u0301la will grow, conquering the will and hearts of tourists.<\/p>\n

Nuno Mahapi pointed out that as it is an event that will be honored by the President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, Hui\u0301la “will take advantage” of the occasion to show its projects, especially those related to education.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to continue to grow, provide solutions to our problems and education is our focus, so we are going to review our problems, in the presence of the Head of State\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n

According to the governor, there is a massive involvement of all inhabitants of Hui\u0301la in the FMCA, so that visitors feel good, as it is a lesson that the province will not forget.<\/p>\n

FMCA recorded a three-year interregnum, due to covid-19, FMCA-2023 and returns in its fourth edition organized by the Ministry of Territory Administration, under the motto \u201cLife is made in municipalities\u201d, and from it the country’s 18 provinces and 164 municipalities will take part, as well as ministerial departments, public and private companies.<\/p>\n

During the event, to be inaugurated by President Lourenc\u0327o, the Forum of Municipalities and Cities of Angola will take place on the 11th, an event in which matters related to local administration will be discussed.<\/p>\n

The province of Hui\u0301la with 79 thousand and 22 km2 has 14 municipalities, namely Lubango (capital), Chibia, Gambos, Humpata, Cacula, Quilengues, Caluquembe, Caconda, Chipindo, Chicomba, Quipungo, Matala, Cuvango and Jamba.<\/p>\n
