Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The 4th edition of the Municipalities and Cities Fair should attract investors to the manufacturing industry, with a view to contributing to the transformation of what is produced in the fields, said this Wednesday, in Saurimo (Lunda Sul), academic Guilherme Martins.<\/b><\/p>\n

As part of the Fair, which will open this Thursday (10), and Lunda Sul’s participation in the event, he referred that any region can only develop with serious investments, which help in the employability of young people and in fight against hunger.<\/p>\n

He underlined that each representative at the event should not only bring what they produce, but credible proposals on where and in what to invest, taking into account the specificities, water resources and fertile soils of their regions.<\/p>\n

Guilherme Martins praised the initiative of the Ministry of Territory Administration (MAT), since the fair aims to unveil the potential of each municipality within the framework of the country’s social and economic development, as well as attract national and foreign tourists in areas never visited .<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Justino Makenda, entrepreneur, suggested that the exhibitors, in addition to presenting positive aspects, talk about the difficulties of municipalities in debates, especially in the sectors of agriculture and electricity, to deserve the special attention of the Executive and potential investors.<\/p>\n

For his part, the spokesperson for the activity and secretary general of the Government of Lunda Sul, Fortunato Pemessa, said that the event will show agricultural potential and gastronomy, as well as the social impact infrastructure built in recent years in the region. province and beyond.<\/p>\n

He referred that the four municipalities that make up Lunda Sul are participating in this edition, namely (Saurimo, Dala, Cacolo and Muconda), as well as the diamond company Sociedade Mineira de Catoca, with a view to an excellent participation.<\/p>\n

The 4th edition of the Angolan Municipalities and Cities Fair (FMCA) kicks off on Wednesday (10th), in Lubango, Hui\u0301la province, with the participation of 128 companies from various sectors and 164 municipalities from the country’s 18 provinces.<\/p>\n

Ending on Sunday (13th) and organized by the Ministry of Territory Administration (MAT), the FMCA takes place every two years and takes place under the motto “Life is built in the municipalities”.<\/p>\n

The last edition was held in 2018 in the city of Benguela.<\/p>\n
