Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Agu\u0301-A\u0301gua Performance Art nucleus takes the stage this Friday in Luanda, with the exhibition of the show entitled “Amne\u0301sia”, within the scope of the eighth edition of the International Theater Circuit (CIT), which takes place at the Teatro Elinga, until September 14th.<\/b><\/p>\n

The group performs for the second time at the festival, after performing on the 4th of August with the play “O Ringue”, which tells the story of a boxer who dreams of becoming world champion in the “Pesos Pesados” category. .<\/p>\n

This time, the Nu\u0301cleo de Arte Agu\u0301-A\u0301gua Performance presents as a scenic proposal the show “Amne\u0301sia”, which portrays the story of the couple Massoxi and Elavoco.<\/p>\n

Both lead a life based on the advice of Doctor “Satisfeito”. However, out of curiosity, the couple decides to investigate a little more about the doctor’s life and are surprised by many irregularities. Realizing the great mystery of Doctor “Satisfeito”, they decide to resort to the same pathetic paths, to obtain the same results and lifestyle.<\/p>\n

The Nu\u0301cleo de Artes Agu\u0301-A\u0301gua Performance, located in the municipality of Kilamba Kiaxi, Bairro Popular, was founded on July 29, 2020 by the actors Elvirany Vivian, Marques Gomes “Inapem\u201d and Agu\u0301-A\u0301gua, who gives the group its name.<\/p>\n

“A Rage” returns to the stage<\/p>\n

On Saturday, also as part of the CIT programme, Companhia Enigma Teatro will take the stage. As a proposal, they will present, at Teatro Elinga, the play “A Raiva”, winner of the Cidade de Luanda Prize, in 2010.<\/p>\n

The piece portrays the daily life of people living in Luanda, calling for the rescue of lost moral and civic values, as well as healthy coexistence among people in the community.<\/p>\n

Staged and directed by Tony Frampe\u0301nio, director of the company, the play draws a parallel between rage in irrational animals and that which occurs in the human personality, in order to provide a profound reflection on the way people deal with each other on a daily basis. everyday life, where excesses and irrational selfishness take precedence over healthy coexistence. The play calls for the promotion of moral values.<\/p>\n

The Theater Company, founded in 1998, is the result of the confluence of the Makotes, created in 1987, and the Komba Meneck, which appeared in 1997. Among other trophies, the Company received the gold medal for best text, staging and actor, at the National Theater Competition, held by the Angolan Theater Association (AAT) in 2009, as well as winning the National Culture and Arts Award, in 2014.<\/p>\n

The Enigma Teatro Company performed more than ten shows, among which “A Grande Question”, “From Luandina to Luanda to Luanda\u0303o”, “Sabutchuca”, “The Thought of the Day”, “A Casa dos Loudos”, “Apaixonados por deceit \u201d, “The empty can\u201d, “If they weren’t women\u201d and “On the tightrope”. To close this week’s theatrical journey, Sunday is reserved for the People of the Sun Project, which proposes the play “Na Nzua e Amira\u0301 \u201d.<\/p>\n

On the same day and place, the Rei Mandume Performing Arts Collective “Colacerma”, from the province of Namibe, exhibits the show “Yalisa- African Spirituality”, included in the CIT programme.<\/p>\n

According to the synopsis, the play seeks to draw attention to the importance of recovering moral values \u200b\u200band the Angolan cultural matrix.<\/p>\n

In search of African spirituality, Yelisa, a young woman, is anointed by her ancestors to follow the African way of worshiping and takes this knowledge to Tchapeseca, her brother, to convince him to give up his dream of becoming a seminarian. The 45-minute drama has a cast of Adriano Cahala (Tchapeseca) and Rosalina Wandakassuki (Yelisa), directed and staged by Gerva\u0301sio Gourgel.<\/p>\n

Tchapeseca is a 23-year-old young man, devoutly Catholic, who has been attending the seminary since he was 17. According to the plot, he dreams of becoming a priest, while Yelisa is a determined 20-year-old who believes she is anointed to found the religion that will preserve African culture.<\/p>\n

The Rei Mandume Performing Arts Collective was founded on June 20, 2011, in Saco-Mar, Namibe province. Its main objective is to participate in the integral formation of man through the performing arts.<\/p>\n

About CIT<\/p>\n

In recent years, the International Theater Circuit has been one of the biggest platforms for theater and for encouraging the exchange of experiences between national and foreign companies, which has allowed the creation of new cultural and artistic facts for the dynamization of the performing arts.<\/p>\n

The CIT is the main platform of the “Cultura para Todos” project and since its creation, in October 2015, it has honored several figures linked to the performing arts and national culture, among which Jose\u0301 Mena Abrantes, Agnela Barros, Fragata de Morais, Manuel Sebastia\u0303o and Diogo Colombo.<\/p>\n

The “Cultura para Todos” project is an artistic-cultural initiative for social inclusion, whose mission and vision are focused on training people to maintain Peace, strengthen Culture, Education and Science.<\/p>\n

This year, it started on the 30th of July with a tribute to the director of the company Horizonte Njinga Mbande, Adelino Caracol, and will last two months.<\/p>\n

The program included performances by the groups Massoxi, Ngau Moyo, Unprevisto, Sa\u0303o Jose\u0301 dos Campos (Brazil), Grupo Girassol (Mozambique), Feloma Mussanzala, Ndokweno Artes, Miragens, Enigma Teatro, Kamba Artes, Conjuntura d’Artes, Imbondeiro, Etu -Ngo, Mussanzala, Etu Lene and Horizonte Njinga Mbande.<\/p>\n

The event will count on the participation of groups from Luanda, Cuando Cubango, Bie\u0301, Benguela, and Cuanza Sul, Namibe and Huambo, who are exchanging experiences on theater techniques, in classes and lectures.<\/p>\n

The organization will award and distinguish, this year, the best groups that participate in the festival and award the prize for the best adaptation of the book “A visita”.<\/p>\n

The organization intends to distinguish the best theater groups in the categories of career, artist, actor, actress, director, revelation, costumes and best group.<\/p>\n

The winner of the \u201cJose\u0301 Mena Abrantes\u201d Theater Writing Prize is allocated two million kwanzas.<\/p>\n
