Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Esmeralda Mendonc\u0327a, defended, this Friday, a strengthening of the partnership with the Republic of India in the field of the pharmaceutical industry, especially in the chapter of training Angolan staff.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Angolan diplomat made this statement during a meeting to strengthen bilateral relations and identify new areas of cooperation between Angola and India, which was attended by the additional secretary for Central and West Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this Asian country, Sevala Naik Mude.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, Esmeralda Mendonc\u0327a also highlighted the reformulation of the Angolan Private Investment Law, which provides a better business environment for foreigners.<\/p>\n

During the approach, the diplomat emphasized the excellent relations existing between the two countries, highlighting above all the exemption of visas in diplomatic and service passports, as well as the strong Indian presence in the trade sector in Angola.<\/p>\n

On his turn, the Indian secretary, Sevala Naik Mude, gave a positive note to the economic reforms that are being implemented by the Angolan Executive, boosting the strengthening of relations between India and Angola.<\/p>\n

The head of the Indian delegation expressed the desire to see cooperation in the areas of health also increased, above all the pharmaceutical industry, timber, agriculture, energy, oil and gas, as well as the identification of new areas where mutual advantages could be sought for the two countries and peoples.<\/p>\n

The Angola-India political consultations this Friday (11) will culminate with the signing, shortly thereafter, of a Joint Communique\u0301.<\/p>\n

Angola and India have maintained political and diplomatic relations for over 40 years, with the sectors of health, education, agriculture, technologies, trade and the pharmaceutical industry being the most important areas of cooperation.<\/p>\n
