Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>MPLA militants in Huambo province took to the streets Saturday, to show full support for the party leader and President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, during marches held in various municipalities in this region of the Central Plateau.<\/b><\/p>\n

In the municipality of Bailundo, in particular, the militants traveled through the main arteries of the municipal town, where, like in the other municipalities, they were confident in the leadership capacity of the party leader, who, despite the financial and economic situation, has done everything to solve, gradually, the problems of the people.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, the coordinator of the Monitoring Group of the Secretariat of the Executive Commission of the Provincial Committee of the MPLA in Huambo to the municipality of Bailundo, Maria Rosa\u0301rio Amadeu, recommended the militants to be guided by a responsible attitude, in the perspective of continuing to support, unconditionally, the leadership of the President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe MPLA has always been guided by freedom and is testing various programs for economic reinforcement in a contextualized environment, in favor of the well-being of the population in the communities to respond to successive domestic and global crises\u201d, he stressed.<\/p>\n

He stated that the MPLA, in the municipality of Bailundo, has already started working for the next elections, in order to maintain the successive victories, aiming at the continuity of development at an acceptable pace.<\/p>\n

In turn, the first secretary of the MPLA in Huambo district, Justino Camota, appealed for continued confidence in President Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o’s leadership capacity, so that he can proceed with actions in favor of resolving the population’s problems.<\/p>\n

He also exhorted MPLA militants, friends and supporters and the population in general to reinforce the spirit of union and peaceful coexistence, regardless of political ideologies, with a view to consolidating peace and national reconciliation.<\/p>\n

According to the definitive results of the elections of the 24th of last August, disclosed by the National Electoral Commission (CNE), the MPLA obtained, in the provincial circle of Huambo, 308 thousand 731 votes, electing three deputies, from a total of 561 voters, from one million 103 thousand 685 predicted.<\/p>\n
