Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The provincial governor of Bengo, Maria Anto\u0301nia Nelumba, visited in Caxito, six manufacturing units located in the locality of Panguila, commune of Barra do Dande, to find out how they work.<\/b><\/p>\n

In the locality, the minister visited Grupo Zara, Levita (mineral water industry), the disposable diaper factory of the group \u201cNoble Group\u201d, Sino Angola Limitada, Angolaves and Fazenda Filomena.<\/p>\n

In the Zara group, which intends to increase the production area, it toured the factory dedicated to the manufacture of \u201cMusoxi\u201d soap, nails, zinc sheets, assembly of iceboxes, chests and stoves in the order of 150 units\/day.<\/p>\n

With an investment of US$15 million, the group has created more than 200 jobs for young people in the region.<\/p>\n

At Levita (mineral water industry), from the company Nutrypoupe Limitada, created in 2019, he listened carefully to the explanations of those responsible.<\/p>\n

The factory produces 14,000 1.5-liter water drums\/hour, 13,000 600-ml bottles\/hour and 1,800 six-liter bottles\/hour.<\/p>\n

The manufacturing unit has three filling lines in operation and generated 216 jobs.<\/p>\n

At the factory for disposable diapers, sanitary napkins, \u201cBom Dia\u201d powdered milk packaging, sugar, rice, corn and zinc sheets belonging to the Noble Group, he toured the unit and carefully checked the products.<\/p>\n

With 120 workers, mostly women, the factory produces 2,400 packs\/day of disposable diapers and sanitary pads, 1,400 packs of milk, sugar, rice, corn and 3,000 plates\/day.<\/p>\n

Sino Angola Limitada, with an investment of 1.6 billion kwanzas, has the capacity to produce 730,000 kilograms of PVC pipe annually.<\/p>\n

The company also produces \u201cPPR and PE\u201d type tubes for water supply and drainage, as well as electrical and fiber optic cable protection casings with silicone wire.<\/p>\n

The minister also inspected the company Angolaves, which occupies an area of \u200b\u200b87 hectares, has twelve pavilions for a total of 250,000 birds, eight of which for laying and four for rearing .<\/p>\n

The director of administration and finance, Daniel Janua\u0301rio, informed that the company currently has 18 thousand chickens that are producing 270 boxes of eggs\/day.<\/p>\n

He explained that the reduction in production is due to the investments that are being made and that aim at the rehabilitation of the ships and the construction of two new pavilions to increase production to 50,000 eggs in the near future.<\/p>\n

Angolaves is a private investment company that has created 107 permanent jobs and 80 occasional jobs.<\/p>\n

At Filomena Farm, the official verified the functioning of the 16 ships, four for offspring and 12 for reproduction.<\/p>\n

The company has a production of around one million eggs\/day.<\/p>\n

The agricultural unit has an organic fertilizer factory for agriculture, with a capacity of 20 tons\/day, and an animal feed plant that can reach a daily production level of up to 500 tons.<\/p>\n

The work at Fazenda Filomena is ensured by more than 400 workers.<\/p>\n

At the end of the visit, the provincial governor of Bengo, Maria Nelumba, reiterated the Executive’s commitment to continue with the diversification of the economy.<\/p>\n

He asked the companies installed in Luanda that operate in Bengo and in other parts of the country to transfer to the province, in order to contribute to raising taxes and developing the region.<\/p>\n
