Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Angolan Taekwondo Federation announced Wednesday, in Luena, the resumption of the process of revitalization and dynamization of the sport in the country.<\/b><\/p>\n

The measure aims to standardize the practice of the modality in the country, with new international concepts, since taekwondo is in constant evolution in the world.<\/p>\n

According to the technical director of the federation, Estanislau Mateus, the resumption of the taekwondo revitalization paralyzed since 2006, will facilitate the massification process, as well as the holding of international competitions.<\/p>\n

In this sense, it guides a technical and practical training action in the province of Moxico, whose process began in Luanda and will be followed by Uige to boost combat sport in Angola.<\/p>\n

The training action is addressing \u201cpoomsae techniques and their essential aspects\u201d, \u201cYoudanja poomsae practices\u201d, \u201cCompetition rules\u201d and \u201cScore criteria, valid points and classification\u201d.<\/p>\n

With the duration of four days, local sports agents will also discuss \u201cPractical movement\u201d, \u201cBasic and alternative methods of sports training and evaluation\u201d, as well as \u201cCharacter and way of carrying out exercises\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Angolan Taekwondo Federation controls more than eight thousand practitioners in Angola, according to a census carried out in January this year.<\/p>\n
