Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of State and Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, Ada\u0303o de Almeida, advocated this Sunday in Amboim (Cuanza Sul), the need for Angolans to preserve peace, national unity, as well as moral values \u200b\u200band civic interests, in favor of the well-being of the populations.<\/b><\/p>\n

When intervening in the opening of the fifth national scout camp, Ada\u0303o de Almeida considered peace and national stability among the most important conquests achieved by the Angolan people.<\/p>\n

For this reason, he exhorted the youth to invest in academic and technical-professional training, in order to contribute to the economic and social development of the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis camp is an example of national unity. Young people from all over the country are here, sharing the ideals of Scouting. Stability constitutes an important challenge for our present, as the past has taught us the value of peace in the worst way, so we all have an obligation to preserve it\u201d, he stressed.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, the official highlighted the importance of the scout movement in building a more cohesive society.<\/p>\n

\u201cI identify with the values \u200b\u200bof the scout movement. Loving the country is the first duty of a citizen. Love Angola and do everything in your power for her, always alert to serve\u201d, he stressed.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Ada\u0303o de Almeida condemned the negative influence of social networks on citizens’ lives.<\/p>\n

The provincial governor of Cuanza Sul, Job Capapinha, the Secretary of State for Youth, Francisco Boaventura Chitapa, religious entities, traditional authorities, among other guests, participated in the act.<\/p>\n

Under the motto \u201cPlanet, our duty and mission\u201d, more than 10 thousand scouts participate in the event, who, for seven days, will carry out various activities distributed in twelve modules, with emphasis on the sharing of experiences, lectures on the preservation of the environment environment and public goods, as well as solidarity campaigns and short-term training actions.<\/p>\n

The AEA controls more than 60,000 members across the country, of which 6,000 are adult volunteers.<\/p>\n
