Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The National Football Team begins qualifying for the 2026 World Cup against Cape Verde, in a game to be played in the City of Praia, between the 13th and 21st of November this year.<\/b><\/p>\n

Inserted in Group D, the \u201cPalancas Negras\u201d will also play their second away match, this time against Mauritania, according to the draw carried out by FIFA.<\/p>\n

The third and fourth rounds will be played between the 3rd and 11th of June 2024, with Angola hosting Eswatini and Cameroon.<\/p>\n

Only between the 17th and 25th of March 2025 will the fifth and sixth rounds take place, in which Angola will face Libya and Cape Verde, respectively, the latter match qualifying for the start of the second round.<\/p>\n

In the seventh round, the “Palancas Negras” will face, at “home”, the Libyan team, and in the eighth round, they will host Mauritania, between the 1st and 9th of September.<\/p>\n

The qualifying phase for the World Cup ends in October 2025, when Angola faces Eswatini, for the ninth round.<\/p>\n

The national combined ends the qualifying stage away from home, against Cameroon.<\/p>\n

The 2026 World Cup will take place in three countries namely, Canada, Mexico and the United States of America.<\/p>\n

Angola, remember, has already participated in the final phase of the World Cup, specifically in 2006, in Germany.<\/p>\n
