Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Two billion kwanzas is the amount that the micro-credit institution \u201cKixiCre\u0301dito\u201d has disbursed over the last 10 years to finance six thousand entrepreneurial initiatives in the province of Malanje.<\/b><\/p>\n

The information was provided Friday, by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of KixiCre\u0301dito, Joaquim Catinda, on the sidelines of the inauguration of the institution’s new premises in Malanje, which until then operated in an inadequate building.<\/p>\n

He stressed that the amount given had a positive impact on the lives of the beneficiaries, as it allowed to leverage business, generate jobs and improve the quality of life of many families.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, he said that it was his intention to extend KixiCre\u0301dito’s services to other parts of the province and reach the quota of two thousand projects and transfer one thousand million kwanzas\/year.<\/p>\n

He stressed that the institution is currently available to finance 2,500 entrepreneurial initiatives, with values \u200b\u200branging from 500,000 to seven million kwanzas.<\/p>\n

On his turn, the Deputy Governor of Malanje for the Technical and Infrastructure sector, Angelino Quissonde, considered that the inauguration of the new KixiCre\u0301dito branch in Malanje represents an opportunity for other people with few resources to embark on the business world. .<\/p>\n

He highlighted that the institution also has simple and practical solutions for granting credit, with a shorter approval period compared to banking institutions, towards boosting the local economy.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the administrator of the Fundo Activo de Capital de Riscos Angolano (FACRA), Sima\u0303o Cardoso, predicted an increase in the number of entrepreneurs in the agribusiness sector, with the opening of that agency and due to the vast potential of the province in this field.<\/p>\n

KixiCre\u0301dito is a microcredit company, the first licensed by the National Bank of Angola (BNA), in 2008, whose activity consists of granting credit to micro and small entrepreneurs, with the aim of contributing to the growth of their businesses and consequently improving the families’ quality of life.<\/p>\n
