Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Angola has 568 products made locally, in the areas of agriculture, industry, commerce, fishing, agribusiness, livestock and others, constituting a positive mark and added value in reducing imports in the country.<\/b><\/p>\n

The information was releaseded friday, in the city of Cuito, Bie\u0301 province, by the Chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA) of the National Institute for Support to Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (INAPEM), Joa\u0303o Hossi, while speaking at the 1st International Conference on Cereals and Grains in Angola.<\/p>\n

Addressing the theme \u201creflection on stamps made in Angola, Joa\u0303o Hossi advanced the advantages of certifying these products, for the benefit of citizens.<\/p>\n

For this reason, he appealed to national consumers to support businessmen who bet on products made in Angola, by purchasing them, in order to stimulate the national economy.<\/p>\n

Joa\u0303o Hossi confirmed that such products can be found in hotels, restaurants, airports, various commercial shelves, formal and informal markets.<\/p>\n

This 1st International Conference on Cereals and Grains, promoted by the Agreement Group, in partnership with the Government of Bie\u0301, takes place within the scope of the 4th Edition of the Provincial Potato and Corn Fair, which takes place from Thursday, in the capital of Bie\u0301 .<\/p>\n

At the event, topics such as \u201cretrospective of agriculture-cereal production before Independence, post and current, \u201cimportance of cereals and grains to combat poverty and food security\u201d, \u201creflection on the stamps made in Angola\u201d.<\/p>\n

There are also subjects related to \u201cinnovations, trends and new technologies in the production of cereals and grains\u201d, \u201crealities, opportunities and challenges of investment in the production of cereals and grains in Angola\u201d, resilient family farming: adaptation to climate change in the sustainable production of cereals and grains\u201d.<\/p>\n

Other topics are \u201cthe role of research institutes, their contribution to increasing the production of cereals and grains\u201d and the role of the Guarantee and Credit Fund in the national economy\u201d.<\/p>\n

The event features national and international lecturers such as the director of the Institute of Agricultural Research, Joa\u0303o Ferreira, director of the National Institute of Cereals in Angola, Maria Garc\u0327a\u0303o, the administrator of the BDA, Arse\u0301nio Satyohamba, the Angolan researcher Andre\u0301 Sinela, the North-American American Waka Waka and the head of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation \u201cEmbrapa\u201d, Lauro Moreira.<\/p>\n

Participating in the event, among various personalities, are the governor of Huambo, Lotti Nolika, deputy governors, municipal administrators, national and foreign producers, businessmen from different provinces of the country and national directors of different ministerial departments.<\/p>\n
