Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Two hundred and 20 new technicians, trained in Medicine, Nursing and Engineering, were launched on the job market, this Friday, by the Instituto Superior Te\u0301cnico Militar (ISTM), in an act chaired by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Angolans, Altino dos Santos.<\/b><\/p>\n

During the diploma award ceremony, the aviation general asked the trainees to dedicate themselves to their areas, calling for their contribution in any part of the national territory and in the various circumstances of the military environment, demonstrating their skills in relation to the size of the large investment made to guarantee formation, in the maxim according to which “the Motherland does not implore its children, it commands”.<\/p>\n

He added that the new technicians received valuable knowledge that enables them to carry out their activities of serving the Armed Forces and the country with the scientific tools they acquired.<\/p>\n

The group of graduates includes 43 doctors, 39 nurses, 39 electrical engineers, 43 IT engineers, 33 mechanical engineers and 23 fortification construction engineers.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the end of the act, the young Danilo Hossi, trained in electrical engineering, expressed the feeling of duty fulfilled and joy, remembering the suffering, promising to make his contribution to technological innovation in the country. \u201cIt was a lot of suffering, effort and dedication\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n

In turn, Anto\u0301nio Paulino, trained in mechanical engineering, said that his focus will be on contributing to the development of the mechanical industry, aviation, armament, as well as progressing and providing solutions to everything that comes along.<\/p>\n

Attended the ceremony of granting high ranking diplomas of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), senior officers, captains, sergeants, squares and family members.<\/p>\n

Instituto Superior Te\u0301cnico Militar (ISTM) is a military university teaching establishment, part of the military education subsystem of the EMGFAA, created under the Directive of the President of the Republic and Commander-in-Chief of the Angolan Armed Forces, pursuant to Order No. 079 CEMG \/FAA, of November 7, 2007.<\/p>\n

The institution’s mission is to train officers in the specialties of Medical Sciences and Engineering, to serve the three branches of the FAA.<\/p>\n
