Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, had a telephone conversation, this Friday afternoon, with his Portuguese counterpart, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, on complementary issues relating to the XIV CPLP Conference.<\/b><\/p>\n

The information was disclosed, in a note, by the Press Secretary of the Presidential Palace in the Angolan capital.<\/p>\n

The XIV Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) took place last Sunday in Sa\u0303o Tome\u0301 and Pri\u0301ncipe, the country that assumed leadership of the organization for the next two years.<\/p>\n

Among the decisions taken at the Sao Tome and Principe meeting, the commitment of the CPLP to achieve economic, social and environmental development in a sustainable manner stands out, as well as encouraging the creation of mobility and exchange programs for young people in the Community.<\/p>\n

The organization comprises Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique, Portugal, Sa\u0303o Tome\u0301 and Pri\u0301ncipe and East Timor.<\/p>\n
