Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The 14th Technological Innovation Fair of the Telecommunications Institute of Luanda (FITITEL\/2023) closed, this Saturday, with the registration of four thousand and 500 visitors, who for three days flocked to the exhibition stands of the 40 alumni projects ITEL courses in computing, electronics and telecommunications, computing and multimedia systems. <\/b><\/p>\n

When taking stock of the activity, which began on Thursday (07), the coordinator of FITITEL\/2023, Dioni\u0301sio Fama, said that 10 companies from the Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) sector in the Angolan market also participated and six startups developed by former students of the Luanda Telecommunications Institute (ITEL), with more than 50 employees being mobilized.<\/p>\n

In addition to the exhibition of innovative projects, the person responsible said that the moment also served to share knowledge, with 10 mini courses being taught on optical fibers, computer networks and mobile phones, graphic design, programming, among others.<\/p>\n

On the main stage, he added, subjects were discussed in lectures and round tables, such as road safety, technology, entrepreneurship and business, as well as the presence of cultural attractions, such as music, dance and comedy.<\/p>\n

At the end of the event, after a guided visit to FITITEL\/2023, the Secretary of State for Telecommunications Information Technology, Pascoal Fernandes, said that he found good initiatives, a fact that leads ITEL’s management to continue investing in training for that talent and solutions are created, since most of the projects presented respond to the real problems of Angolan society.<\/p>\n

In this context, he recognized the little integration of sponsors and investments, but said that existing support helps students so that they can develop a business sense and entrepreneurship to promote employment.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a need to emphasize the initiatives of young people in being able to respond to the problems that society is experiencing\u201d, he underlined.<\/p>\n

He further stated that the projects presented offered promising and innovative perspectives, not only to improve road safety, but also with a view to responding to other needs in the national market.<\/p>\n

In turn, the director of ITEL, Cla\u0301udio Gonc\u0327alves, thanked the institutions that made it possible to hold the 14th Technological Innovation Fair of the Luanda Telecommunications Institute (FITITEL\/2023), which took place under the motto “Technological innovation at the service of security road”.<\/p>\n

The event was promoted by the Luanda Telecommunications Institute (ITL), with support from the Ministry of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Social Communication (MINTTICS), aiming to showcase the skills and competencies that students acquired during the four years of training, presenting solutions that can solve problems for companies and society.<\/p>\n
