Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>One hundred young people from the Young Brigade of Literature of Angola (BJLA) in Saurimo (Lunda sul), participated on Saturday, at the weekend, in a creative writing course, in salute to National Hero Day, to mark the 17th of this month.<\/b><\/p>\n

In addition to creative writing, associates absorbed knowledge of contemporary literary theory and literary genres.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, the head of BJLA in Lunda Sul, He\u0301lio Sangula, stated that the course served to train young people to perfect literary art, so that the works have the desired quality.<\/p>\n

The Course was taught by Portuguese language university professor Eli\u0301sio Kembuissa.<\/p>\n

Anto\u0301nio Agostinho Neto was born in the village of Caxicane, Icolo e Bengo, a town now part of the province of Luanda, on September 17, 1922, and died of illness in Moscow, capital of the then Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), on the 10th. September 1979.<\/p>\n

As a result of his bravery and outstanding contribution to the country’s independence and territorial integrity, Anto\u0301nio Agostinho Neto was proclaimed a National Hero and the highest exponent of Angolan nationalism.<\/p>\n
