Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>African ambassadors accredited in Angola committed, this Wednesday, in Lubango, to attract entrepreneurs to invest in agriculture, mineral resources, tourism, commerce and civil construction in the province of Hui\u0301la.<\/b><\/p>\n

These are diplomats from Zimbabwe, South Africa, Uganda, Mauritania, Ghana, Cape Verde, Kenya, Nigeria, Mozambique, Eritrea, Zambia, Algeria and Rwanda, who worked 48 hours in Hui\u0301la.<\/p>\n

When taking stock of the visit, the Zambian ambassador and head of the delegation, Lawrence Chalungumana, considered the meetings held as positive, as they served to demystify the \u201cnegative\u201d narrative of internet information, much of it incorrect.<\/p>\n

He said that the group of ambassadors will share all information with entrepreneurs in their countries, to promote partnerships and develop the identified sectors.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is an opportunity for the local government to create synergies with entrepreneurs from Africa to work in Hui\u0301la. They will come with knowledge and capital to invest, the local entrepreneur will have to have land and all organized and legal documentation, as fundamental premises in the process\u201d, he clarified.<\/p>\n

He reinforced that on November 23rd of the current year, National Industry Day, business entrepreneurs will be brought to Hui\u0301la to participate in the event, a platform where they will be able to form direct partnerships and others will come to talk about business in the areas listed.<\/p>\n

He declared that Hui\u0301la has \u201cgreat potential\u201d in the areas he mentioned and with vast investment opportunities, as it has an \u201copen\u201d governor with a \u201cstrong\u201d vision for the development of the province.<\/p>\n

He highlighted that investing in agriculture is necessary for the continent to become self-sufficient in food production, thus reducing imports and increasing the capacity of the economy, with a view to increasing the supply of jobs and the ability to raise taxes.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe life of the Angolan people is similar to that of many other African countries. We saw this during our visit to the Hui\u0301la Regional Museum, a rich culture and food similar to our people. We felt very comfortable, we were at home and we were very well received by the government,\u201d she highlighted.<\/p>\n

The ambassador said that they were enchanted with the Tundavala Gap, and argued that it needs to be more publicized, stressing that he intends to bring to Hui\u0301la the experience of the Victoria Falls, in Zambia, a global tourist potential, to take advantage of good practices in terms of refers to services.<\/p>\n

In addition to having an audience with the governor of Hui\u0301la, Nuno Mahapi, the delegation met with local business people, through the province’s Agro-Livestock, Commercial and Industrial Association.<\/p>\n

The ambassadors visited the Moc\u0327a\u0302medes Railway, the companies Metalosul and Hiperma\u0301quinas, the Hui\u0301la Regional Museum, the Science and Technology Center, the Cristo Rei Monument, Fenda da Tundavala, the Jamba farm and the Flower Production Greenhouse Ornamental and Fruit Plants.<\/p>\n
