Currently, no Huilano businessman has managed to enter, but there are some products that are in the pipeline to be exported, such as mineral water, granite, gold, essential oils, among others, according to the vice-president of the Agro-Livestock, Commercial and Industrial Association da Hui\u0301la (AAPCIL) Ce\u0301sar Liberato.<\/p>\n

Reacting after a meeting of the Angola United Arab Emirates Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACIANGEAU) and local business associations, in Lubango, the business manager stated that such \u201cexcesses\u201d are not only on the Angolan side, but on the UAE side, too.<\/p>\n

He declared that the bureaucracy to export a product to a given country must respect the standards that exist in the destination market and they must be aware of what they are, which is why they will work with CACIANGEAU so that the brand \u201cMade in Angola\u201d reach every corner of the world.<\/p>\n

Ce\u0301sar Liberato highlighted that the requirement for product quality is \u201cdetailed\u201d, but they must be respected and dealt with, in order to know what is really wanted so that the province’s products reach their intended destination.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is already a paradigm shift in foreign businesspeople wanting to invest in Angola, they are starting to have a special desire to hold meetings with local businesspeople, but it needs to be done in a different format, which involves negotiating directly with investors\u201d, reinforced.<\/p>\n

In the same vein, the provincial delegate of the Industrial Association of Angola (AIA) in Hui\u0301la, Francisco Chocolate, said that in order to export, certification from the Private Investment and Export Promotion Agency of Angola (AIPEX) is necessary, with the consent of the ministries Commerce and Industry and Economy and Planning, a process that takes time.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe hope that the Chamber can help make it faster, since the two countries already have a protocol of understanding with the responsible ministries. We want to have at least one Hui\u0301la industry exporting and with that we can attract more foreign currency to Angola\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n

In turn, the representative of the Angola-UAE Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Victor Panzo, said that the institution has the role of intermediary so that similar institutions and ministries that are responsible for certifying the entrepreneurs’ product work quickly.<\/p>\n

The UAE has the requirement criteria and the Chamber is concerned, so businesspeople must have all documentation organized and product certification, a certificate issued by the State that must continue to implement \u201cMade in Angola\u201d speed policies. .<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are products in Hui\u0301la that already have the Made in Angola seal, with emphasis on Chela water. Preciosa water contacted the Chamber so that its product reaches the UAE and will have to comply with the criteria of having the seal and all parameters required internationally by the World Health Organization (WHO)\u201d, he continued.<\/p>\n

Victor Panzo made it known that if businesspeople are affiliated with CACIANGEAU they will have an easier process to have their products in this Asian market, a country that represents a rotating platform that connects various parts of the world.<\/p>\n

He highlighted that the meeting served as a way for the Chamber to invite local businesspeople to participate in the Angola Global Business Forum, 2nd edition, which takes place from the 28th to the 30th of the current month in Luanda, an event that brings together the business class from the agro-business sectors, carbon credit, tourism and real estate, mines value chain in the oil and gas sector.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to bring together not only businesspeople who are in the country’s capital, but to open this up to all of Angola, with emphasis on Hui\u0301la, which has potential in agro-business, tourism and mining, which we will take into consideration for businesspeople from the USA and others. countries that will take part in this forum\u201d, he reinforced.<\/p>\n

Victor Panzo reaffirmed that the objective is to support the business community as they sustain the economic balance and guarantee several jobs, especially for youth, which is why they intend to bring the forum to Hui\u0301la, taking into account the potential that the province presents.<\/p>\n
