Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The president of the National Assembly (AN), Carolina Cerqueira, highlighted, this Wednesday, in Cabinda, the investment in a program of modernization of local support offices for provincial electoral districts, to provide better working and accommodation conditions for deputies.<\/b><\/p>\n

Carolina Cerqueira, who has been in Cabinda since this Wednesday (13), made these statements after the reopening of the building of the local support office for the provincial electoral district.<\/p>\n

The leader of the Angolan parliament highlighted the importance of creating the necessary technical, material and physical conditions so that deputies can carry out their work with dignity.<\/p>\n

According to the person responsible, the modernization process makes several important instruments available to deputies, both from a technological and documentation point of view.<\/p>\n

To this end, he said, he hopes for a good understanding and rapport in the field of cooperation and institutional solidarity between the people’s representatives and the Executive bodies, which is the governing authority at the level of the province of Cabinda.<\/p>\n

For the governor of Cabinda, Mara Quiosa, the reopening of the facilities represents a special and particular occasion, as these are high-ranking representatives of the Angolan people.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is unequivocal evidence given to the province of Cabinda by the three established powers, the Legislative, Executive and Judicial, justifying the specificity taking into account the geographical discontinuity that characterizes the location of this region of the national territory.<\/p>\n

The building, which underwent restoration work for six months, will from now on provide better working conditions for the five (5) deputies from the provincial circle and beyond.<\/p>\n

During the restoration work, the seven offices for deputies, two meeting rooms, the installation of a new computer system for video conferences, as well as the administrative services support office, were improved.<\/p>\n
