The recognition was expressed by the second secretary of the MPLA in the province of Huambo, Ade\u0301rito Chimuco, on the sidelines of the laying of a wreath at Largo Doutor Anto\u0301nio Agostinho Neto, as part of the days commemorating National Hero’s Day, which is celebrated on the 17th of the current month.<\/p>\n

The first secretary of the MPLA in the province of Huambo, Lotti Nolika, led the event, in the presence of members of the Executive Committee and the Provincial Committee, as well as activists from OMA and JMPLA.<\/p>\n

Ade\u0301rito Chimuco considered Anto\u0301nio Agostinho Neto as an indescribable figure, as a man of Angola and the world, who from a very early age fought for noble causes and, at the same time, interpreted scenarios to guarantee the well-being of Angolans.<\/p>\n

Likewise, he added, the first President of Angola always donated himself to the liberation of Angolans against Portuguese colonial rule and, as a doctor, he was profoundly human, in addition to being a man of letters and a poet, whose The work is currently recited all over the world and in the most varied languages.<\/p>\n
