{"id":44742,"date":"2023-09-18T07:58:08","date_gmt":"2023-09-18T07:58:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/?p=44742"},"modified":"2023-09-18T07:42:42","modified_gmt":"2023-09-18T07:42:42","slug":"historian-highlights-example-of-netos-leadership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/all-news\/historian-highlights-example-of-netos-leadership","title":{"rendered":"Historian highlights example of Neto&#8217;s leadership"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Angola. <\/strong><\/span><b>Historian Lu\u0301cio Ndinoiti highlighted, this Sunday, in Ondjiva, Cunene, the example and leadership capacity of the first President of Angola, Anto\u0301nio Agostinho Neto, as motivation and inspiration for the country&#8217;s youth.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Speaking during a lecture on \u201cNeto&#8217;s political contribution to youth\u201d, Lu\u0301cio Ndinoiti said that, in order for young people to become good leaders and patriots in the future, they must be more inspired by the achievements of the National Hero.<\/p>\n<p>Agostinho Neto, as a charismatic leader, visionary, politician, doctor, poet and humanist, was always concerned with the well-being of Angolans, saying \u201cthe most important thing is to solve the people&#8217;s problems\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt must be urgent to reinforce activities to transmit the hero\u2019s political, social and cultural journey to current and future generations, aiming to preserve patriotic values\u201d, he stated.<\/p>\n<p>Lu\u0301cio Ndinoiti reaffirmed that Agostinho Neto defended the formation of the new man for the triumph and development of the country, which is why his good example is followed by many not only in Angola, but also in Africa and the world.<\/p>\n<p>The first secretary of JMPLA in Cunene, Ireno Nambalo, called on young people to remain firm and determined to embrace patriotic values \u200b\u200band contribute to the social and economic development of the country.<\/p>\n<p>Ireno Nambalo asked activists to be more involved in promoting cultural actions, aiming to rescue moral and civic values, as well as transmitting the great references of Angolan nationalism.<\/p>\n<p>Anto\u0301nio Agostinho Neto was born in Icolo e Bengo, Luanda, on September 17, 1922 and died in Moscow on September 10, 1979.<\/p>\n<p>He was an Angolan doctor, writer and politician.
