Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Eighty-three literary works about the life of Anto\u0301nio Agostinho Neto have been, since this Friday, on display at the Higher Institute of Educational Sciences (ISCED) in Hui\u0301la, as part of activities alluding to National Hero’s Day.<\/b><\/p>\n

The bibliographic exhibition, an initiative of ISCED-Hui\u0301la, in partnership with the cultural movement Lev Arte, brings together works by Anto\u0301nio Agostinho Neto and other authors, as well as monographs by students that address Neto.<\/p>\n

Among the works, those by Aca\u0301cio Barrados entitled \u201cAgostinho Neto uma vida sem Tre\u0301guas\u201d (1922-1979) and the photographic album by Augusta Conhiglia, which illustrates \u201cAgostinho Netoy, from the Guerrilla to the first years of independence\u201d, stand out.<\/p>\n

As for the theses, some make an incursion into the pedagogical contribution of Anto\u0301nio Agostinho Neto in youth education, his policy of education for citizenship and the eradication of illiteracy.<\/p>\n

Professor He\u0301lder Mayunga, from the Social Sciences and Education department at ISCED-Hui\u0301la, said that the exhibition will last seven days, to allow students and the interested public to visit and learn a little more about the journey of the founder of the Nation.<\/p>\n

He stated that the intention is to publicize and show that the institution has works about this \u201cgreat national figure\u201d, so that students, if necessary, can make use of them.<\/p>\n

In turn, the national executive secretary of Lev Arte, Justina Kibeca, detailed that her movement has a partnership with the Agostinho Neto Foundation and exhibits several works, from speeches, photographic and children’s books that illustrate the historical journey of \u201cManguxi\u201d.<\/p>\n

ISCED-Hui\u0301la has a bibliographic collection of 95 thousand 473 books from different areas of knowledge, including 50 books that talk about the life and work of Agostinho Neto.<\/p>\n
