Even so, Angola qualified for the World Cup in 2024, taking place in China, between the months of July and August, as did the three teams on the podium, Egypt (1st place), Guinea 2nd) and Nigeria (3rd). .<\/p>\n

In chess, International Master (MI) Amorim Agnelo, from 1.o de Agosto, won the absolute National Championship, becoming four-time champion, after victories in 1997, 2002 and 2010.<\/p>\n

For women, the trophy went to Ednazia Ju\u0301nior, from Escola Macovi. The 21-year-old chess player thus won her second absolute national title, after having done so in 2021.<\/p>\n

In futsal. The province of Hui\u0301la hosted the men’s and women’s national championships, with the conquest, respectively, of the Cli\u0301nica Sacred Esperanc\u0327a de Luanda and 4 de Junho do Huambo.<\/p>\n
