Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>More than 30 Angolan visual artists will participate from September 27th to October 1st in the Art and Culture Festival in the city of Newark, New Jersey, in the United States of America (USA).<\/b><\/p>\n

The information was provided this Monday, in Luanda, by the executive director of Resiliart Angola, Marcos Agostinho, highlighting that they will take 50 visual works representing national culture.<\/p>\n

According to the person responsible, the festival represents a unique moment for artists, as their works will be represented in the United States of America.<\/p>\n

He highlighted that this exhibition will be a contribution to the dissemination of the national culture, the people and the country itself, as they will do everything to awaken the interest of foreigners in getting to know Angola.<\/p>\n

About the festival<\/p>\n

Voted New Jersey’s favorite visual arts festival, the event will showcase the “cross-cultural perspectives” of Newark’s diverse arts community, as well as national and international voices in the arts.<\/p>\n

Exclusive to this year’s festival, there will be a spotlight on the contributions of Newark-area hip hop pioneers in celebration of the musical style’s 50th anniversary.<\/p>\n

Led by local curators, each day of the festival will showcase dynamic artistic offerings from Newark’s creative community, including pop-up art installations, performance and poetry experiences, youth activations, film and media, nightlife, and more.<\/p>\n
