Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Despite the defeat by 2 sevens -3, in the fourth round of the 37th National Senior Men’s Volleyball Championship, against Interclube do Namibe, 4 de Junho has everything open to qualify for the quarter finals of the competition.<\/b><\/p>\n

The result is bad, but not catastrophic, as it allowed the training assigned to the Rapid Intervention Police (PIR), inserted in group B, to add one more point, totaling four and continue in fourth position in the national league table, opened last Thursday -Friday, 21.<\/p>\n

To guarantee qualification to the quarter-finals, the Planalto Central team is obliged to beat Sporting de Benguela on Wednesday, for the fifth and final round of the group stage.<\/p>\n

The ADS team from Huambo, another representative of the province in the national championship, wasted the opportunity to relaunch the qualification, losing, also on Monday, in the fourth round, against Sporting do Bie\u0301, by 1 sevens -3, for group A .<\/p>\n

In other games in the fourth round, the Estrelas do Pala\u0301cio da Hui\u0301la team beat Clube Desportivo do Impe\u0301rio, by 3 sevens-2, for group A in men, the same result with which Blue Vo\u0301lei Clube defeated Pura Sport, in the duel from group B.<\/p>\n

This Tuesday, to conclude the same round, Mente Activa will play against Esporpo\u0303es da Boa Fe\u0301 de Viana (group A) and Sporting de Benguela x Nu\u0301cleo do Cuanza Sul (group B).<\/p>\n

In the women’s category, the only team from Huambo to participate in the Nacional, 4 de Junho, achieved its first victory in the competition, totaling four points, by beating Nu\u0301cleo do Cuanza Sul, 3-0.<\/p>\n

However, to ensure passage to the other phase of the competition (semi-finals) they will have to counter the favoritism of the Scorpions of Boa Fe\u0301 de Viana, one of the candidates for the title, for the game of the last round of the first stage.<\/p>\n

In other matches, Blue Vo\u0301lei Clube beat Pura Sport, by 3 sevens -2, and Sporting de Benguela was unable to stop the unbeaten run of the Scorpions da Boa Fe\u0301 de Viana team, losing by 0 -3 sevens.<\/p>\n

With one round to go, the men’s teams Mente Activa, Estrelas do Pala\u0301cio da Hui\u0301la, Scorpions da Boa Fe\u0301, Blue Vo\u0301lei Clube, Inteclube do Namibe and Pura Sport have already qualified for the quarter-finals, while for the semi-finals, Women’s finals are Blue Vo\u0301lei Clube, Scorpios da Boa Fe\u0301 and Pura Sport.<\/p>\n
