{"id":45597,"date":"2023-09-28T06:44:36","date_gmt":"2023-09-28T06:44:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/?p=45597"},"modified":"2023-09-28T05:32:47","modified_gmt":"2023-09-28T05:32:47","slug":"angola-reaffirms-support-for-the-principle-of-a-single-china","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/all-news\/angola-reaffirms-support-for-the-principle-of-a-single-china","title":{"rendered":"Angola reaffirms support for the principle of a single China"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Angola. <\/strong><\/span><b>Angola maintains its support for the one-China principle, as well as non-interference in the internal affairs of other States, confirmed in Luanda, the director of the Directorate for Asia and Oceania of the Angolan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Miguel de Dialamicua.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The official was speaking during the ceremony that marked the 74th anniversary of the proclamation of the People&#8217;s Republic of China, held in one of the hotels in the country&#8217;s capital.<\/p>\n<p>According to Miguel Dialamicua, Angola is in favor of internationally accepted principles and respect for the territorial integrity of the People&#8217;s Republic of China.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that China is today considered the second largest economy in the world, a widely industrialized and technologically developed nation, as a result of its good governance and vision in the application of feasible practices in the most varied areas led by President Xi Jinping.<\/p>\n<p>In his view, China&#8217;s development serves as a good example for other nations globally and Angola has been able to benefit from the application of Chinese sciences for its development.<\/p>\n<p>He highlighted that the celebration of this anniversary coincides with the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Angola-China diplomatic relations, the fruits of which are notable at all levels.<\/p>\n<p>He pointed out that the government of Angola welcomes these bilateral relations, as they serve as an inspirational source for the process of national reconstruction after the achievement of effective peace in Angola.<\/p>\n<p>On September 21, 1949, Chinese communist leader Mao Zedong (or Mao Zedong) proclaimed the establishment of the People&#8217;s Republic of China with himself as president of the country and his companion, Xu-En-Lai, as prime minister.<\/p>\n<p>The proclamation was followed by a huge celebration in Tiananmen Square, in Beijing, on October 1st \u2013 a date that became the new country&#8217;s National Day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\">Angola<\/a> Follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Angola.
