Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The governor of Cuando Cubango, Jose\u0301 Martins, assessed, this Thursday, the level of execution of social equipment underway in Menongue, which could be delivered on November 11th, National Independence Day.<\/b><\/p>\n

These are works on the facilities of the local Production Center of Public Television of Angola (TPA) and the building of the former national insurance company AAA, where Justice services will operate, carried out within the scope of the allocation of funds that the province received in the differential of oil, worth more than five billion kwanzas.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the press at the end of the visit carried out at the two infrastructures, Jose\u0301 Martins said that the works are part of a set of equipment that should be completed next October to be inaugurated as part of the National Independence celebrations.<\/p>\n

He said that the results are encouraging, as both the TPA production center and the former AAA insurance building are in the finishing phase, with a physical execution of 91 percent.<\/p>\n

In general, Jose\u0301 Martins mentioned that there are, in all municipalities, works with a very advanced level of physical execution, linked to the health, education and public security sectors, as a result of the application of the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM).<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are satisfied, just look at the level of work that was carried out. It satisfies not only the governor, but any citizen who can visit. We want to thank the companies responsible for implementing these infrastructures for their commitment and encourage them to continue with this type of work\u201d, he concluded.<\/p>\n

The director of the TPA production center in Cuando Cubango, Gaspar Gindanji, praised the local government’s initiative in rehabilitating the infrastructure, which could give better dignity to the institution’s employees.<\/p>\n
