Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Ceci\u0301lia Intcha is the new executive secretary of the OMA in the province of Cuando Cubango, elected this Saturday, with 390 votes in favor, which corresponds to 97.75 percent, of the 450 delegates who participated in the conclave.<\/b><\/p>\n

Ceci\u0301lia Intcha replaces activist Rosa Cacuhu, who leaves her position due to incompatibility of roles, during the 1st extraordinary assembly of the MPLA women’s organization.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, the new OMA secretary at Cuando Cubango said that she will continue to encourage greater mobilization and awareness of women from various sectors of society, to strengthen their ranks, empowering and empowering women.<\/p>\n

The fight against illiteracy, escape from fatherhood, combating domestic, physical, psychological and moral violence, non-provision of food, promotion of political and professional education are also on the lines of the new OMA secretary.<\/p>\n

Ceci\u0301lia Intcha will also continue to promote and defend women’s rights, disseminate and teach the principles of equality, humanism and social justice, in ways to make the organization stronger.<\/p>\n

The leader requested, on the occasion, the full support of all OMA activists, cadres and leaders in the province, defending unity, cohesion and teamwork so that the organization can comply with the MPLA’s guidelines.<\/p>\n

In turn, the first provincial secretary of the MPLA in Cuando Cubango, Jose\u0301 Martins, asked the new OMA secretary to do a lot of work, at a time when the current context demands permanent commitment and dedication from party leaders, with a view to effective performance, as well as the coordination of synergies, for the success of present and future challenges.<\/p>\n

Jose\u0301 Martins pointed out the need to improve working methods in the party structures, especially the reinforcement of staff management, as a way for each person to take care exclusively of the functions they were called to perform for the cohesion of the party.<\/p>\n
