Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The instructor of the Angolan Olympic Committee (COA), Genivaldo Dias, defended Monday, in the city of Huambo, greater awareness among the population about the need to practice sports.<\/b><\/p>\n

Genivaldo Dias spoke during a lecture on \u201cThe importance of sport for society\u201d, aimed at sports agents, sports lovers and the general population of the province of Huambo.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, he highlighted the importance of sport for improving quality of life, health, social integration, deepening friendship relationships, respect, acquiring fame, monetary values, recreation and increasing self-confidence. esteem, as essential factors for the development of society<\/p>\n

The COA instructor said it is necessary to raise awareness among the population so that they increasingly practice sporting activities and enjoy their benefits.<\/p>\n

Genivaldo Dias also mentioned that the population needs to know how to practice, where, why, with whom and define objectives, taking into account the diversity of sporting activities, in recreation, training, competition and self-performance.<\/p>\n
