Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The president of UNITA, Adalberto Costa Ju\u0301nior, reiterated Wednesday, in Malanje, the need to reinforce institutional dialogue, with a view to achieving the social progress desired by citizens.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to the politician, the country has major challenges in achieving development and dialogue is the surest path.<\/p>\n

Speaking during an audience with the acting provincial governor of Malanje, Angelino Quissonde, the UNITA leader said it was urgent to turn the current page towards building a country of integration.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the issue of energy in the municipalities was addressed, with only 4 of the 14 benefiting from electricity from the Capanda and Lau\u0301ca dams, the situation of some degraded sections, especially the road that connects Capanda to Cacuso, among other aspects linked to province and the life of the population.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the acting governor explained that municipalities that do not depend on dams benefit from energy from thermal plants, while they wait for the completion of electrification projects that are expected to cover 60 municipalities in the country.<\/p>\n

Along this path, he explained that initially Malanje was provided with 10 communes and an equal number of municipal headquarters.<\/p>\n

After the audience with the acting governor, the president of UNITA held separate meetings with the chancellor of the Archdiocesan Curia of Malanje, Nelson da Cruz, and with the bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Church Zion of the East of Angola, Joa\u0303o de Almeida, with whom He shared information about the country’s socio-political situation and his party’s political agenda.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, several teams assigned to the UNITA Parliamentary Group traveled to several municipalities in the province to verify the degree of economic and social development, as well as evaluate local actions and the living conditions of residents.<\/p>\n

Adalberto Costa Ju\u0301nior heads a delegation of deputies and party leaders, who works in Malanje, as part of the XI Parliamentary Days of this political formation that take place from the 5th to the 7th of this month, in this city.<\/p>\n

The parliamentary days will take place under the motto \u201cUNITA Parliamentary Group, for Democracy, citizenship and inclusive development\u201d, and will serve to discuss aspects linked to democracy, citizenship and inclusive development of the country, as well as taking stock of the actions of the first parliamentary year of the fifth legislature.<\/p>\n
