Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Angolan Government made 50 billion kwanzas (Kz) available to the Credit Guarantee Fund (FGC) to boost national production, especially to finance agriculture, livestock, fishing, production support services and the manufacturing industry, revealed the president of the institution, Luzayadio Simba.<\/p>\n

The manager, who was speaking at the 1st Credit Guarantee Forum, stated that he has no doubt that the initiative, included in the Guarantee Acceleration and Promotion Plan, demonstrates the engagement of the Angolan Executive so that economic measures are effective in the short, medium and long term. term.<\/p>\n

Luzayadio Simba informed that the initiative to finance projects in those sectors is led by the Minister of State for Economic Coordination, Jose\u0301 de Lima Massano.<\/p>\n

Referring to the institution’s actions, the person responsible said that, in global terms, the FGC considered a total of 806 guarantees, corresponding to an investment in the order of 330 billion kwanzas, which mainly benefited medium-sized companies linked to the manufacturing industry. \u201d, he revealed.<\/p>\n

He acknowledged that he was aware of the challenges that the economy faces, as a result of the macro-economic situation, but, at the same time, he said that he was hopeful that it was possible to reverse the scenario through joint actions coordinated and aligned with the strategic objectives of the Angolan Executive, where guarantees Public policies and financing appear to be decisive.<\/p>\n
