Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Twenty-six million 933 thousand Kwanzas was the turnover carried out at the fourth edition of the Agro-Dande Fair that took place in the Panguila market, Bengo province.<\/b><\/p>\n

For three days, farmers from the municipality of Dande displayed products such as bananas, cassava, sweet potatoes and reindeer, ginguba, lemons, oranges, tomatoes, onions, among others.<\/p>\n

30 tons of various products were on display.<\/p>\n

The event brought together 40 exhibitors, including 20 agricultural cooperatives, two fishing cooperatives, 12 food vendors and five public institutions.<\/p>\n

At the closing ceremony, the municipal administrator of Dande, Domingos Lourenc\u0327o, informed that, in the next 15 days, the roads that give access to the production areas will begin to be opened in the municipality.<\/p>\n

He announced that the administration will receive arable land from owners without the capacity to work and hand it over to those who have the capacity to produce.<\/p>\n

He promised to deliver inputs and agricultural supplies to churches based in the municipality to create agricultural cooperatives.<\/p>\n

For the person responsible, the fair served to speed up the flow of products from the field and avoid the loss of investment made by farmers.<\/p>\n

The event also served to promote trade in nationally produced agricultural, livestock, fish and bee products, he said.<\/p>\n

The National Union of Angolan Peasants (UNACA) in Dande called for the rehabilitation of access roads to facilitate the flow of production by farmers in the communes of the municipality of Dande.<\/p>\n

The Agro-Dande fair had more than two thousand visitors.<\/p>\n
