Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Angolan musician and writer Carlos Lamartine announced, on Friday, in Luanda, the construction of a first cycle school, in the municipality of Viana, which will contribute to the promotion of Angolan culture.<\/b><\/p>\n

The project includes, in a three-story building, 12 classrooms, one for exhibitions, one for music, one for teachers, a secretariat, among other compartments.<\/p>\n

Carlos Lamartine made the announcement after being awarded the critics’ prize, during the 2023 edition of Top dos Mais Queridos, which takes place in the Belas Conference Center (CCB) tent.<\/p>\n

The musician received a diploma of merit and one million and 500 thousand kwanzas, an amount that will be used to materialize the project.<\/p>\n

According to Carlos Lamartine, the initiative contributes to improving the quality of education.<\/p>\n

Regarding the distinction, he said he was \u201chappy and radiant\u201d, as it happened in a year in which he celebrated 80 years of life, having thanked the organization for recognizing his achievements, in favor of national culture.<\/p>\n

He also announced the preparation of a book related to Massemba.<\/p>\n
