Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Secretary of the President of the Republic for State Reform, Pedro Fiete Raimundo, asked, this Monday, in Ondjiva, to public servants, rigor in observing the measures of the \u201cSimplifica\u201d project.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking at the time of implementing the monitoring plan in the province of Cunene, he acknowledged that there is still “excessive” bureaucracy in some institutions, so that citizens can process a document, not according to administrative rules, but on the part of civil servants and civil servants.<\/p>\n

He said that the strategy, now in its second edition with several acts and measures, aims to facilitate access to public services and citizens’ lives, ensuring that several measures are in force.<\/p>\n

As a next step, he highlighted, it is necessary to observe, comply with and practically and effectively apply these decisions.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, he highlighted the obligation of public bodies to avoid bureaucratic barriers to citizens in order to collect revenue, highlighting that the focus is on providing services to citizens.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a great challenge to implement the measures, but we are working on the behavioral dimension of public administration agents, through ongoing training and capacity building, to enable a change of mentality\u201d, he highlighted.<\/p>\n

The leader clarified that the institution is making an incursion across the country to take the message and share those measures and acts already approved within the scope of State reform, in order to allow effective compliance and make life easier for citizens in accessing public services. .<\/p>\n

In turn, the acting governor of Cunene, Anto\u0301nio Matias, stated that the Simplifica Project brought a new dynamic to the debureaucratization of administrative procedures in the State’s local bodies.<\/p>\n

To this end, he said that it is of great importance to promote clarification activities, in order to update the knowledge of employees and administrative agents, to correct procedures in carrying out the activity.<\/p>\n

The government official defended greater clarification of the simplified project, its values \u200b\u200band advantages, highlighting the relevance of the meeting, as it allowed those present to dispel doubts and provide a higher quality service to users who visit public institutions every day.<\/p>\n

During the session, participants were informed about the procedures and modernization of services contained in Simplifica 1.0 and 2.0, namely, discontinuity of the requirement for documents issued by the State in inter-administrative relations, integration of services, municipalization of services, validity periods, extension or limitations of documents.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by members of the government, municipal and communal administrators, employees and senior workers from all bodies that provide public services at the level of the six municipalities.<\/p>\n
