Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, arrived in Kenya this Thursday afternoon, where he will carry out a two-day official visit at the invitation of his Kenyan counterpart, Willian Ruto.<\/b><\/p>\n

At Jomo Kenyatta Airport, the Angolan statesman, accompanied by the First Lady, Ana Dias Lourenc\u0327o, received welcome greetings from the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Affairs of Kenya, Musalia Mudavadi.<\/p>\n

The work schedule starts on Friday. On the first day, in the town of Kericho, 400 kilometers from the city of Nairobi, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o will participate, as guest of honor, in an event commemorating Hero’s Day, where he will have to speak.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, the President of Angola will be formally welcomed at the Presidential Palace in Nairobi, with protocol honors and 21 cannon salutes, followed by a meeting between the two Heads of State.<\/p>\n

The accompanying delegations will work to strengthen bilateral relations.<\/p>\n

Also on Saturday, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o will go to the Mausoleum of Jomo Kenyatta, the first President of Kenya, to pay tribute to the late statesman.<\/p>\n
