Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Prime Minister of Cape Verde, Jose\u0301 Ulisses Correia e Silva, suggested, this Friday, in Mindelo, the creation of a program called Erasmus.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Erasmus Program is a management plan for various public administrations, which supports and facilitates the academic mobility of university students and teachers across the world.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the closing of the 1st International Congress of Science, Innovation and Development of Lusofonia, he informed that the idea had recently been shared with the PM of Portugal, Anto\u0301nio Costa, considering it to be beneficial at all levels.<\/p>\n

Jose\u0301 Ulisses Correia e Silva praised the initiative of the Luso\u0301fona University of Cape Verde for holding the congress that involved academics, researchers and political decision-makers from the CPLP.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a dimension that the CPLP and Portuguese-speaking countries must enhance by sharing best practices in the production of knowledge, promoting scientific and technological research and insertion in scientific networks. I congratulate the Universidade Luso\u0301fona do Mindelo for the initiative\u201d, he highlighted.<\/p>\n

Jose\u0301 Ulisses Correia e Silva encouraged public and private universities to open themselves to society and national and foreign companies, as institutions for the promotion and transfer of knowledge, science, technology and research.<\/p>\n

From his perspective, institutions must be ready to support knowledge transfer initiatives, joint ventures with companies, targeting entrepreneurship, innovation and digital transformation.<\/p>\n

The 1st International Congress on \u201cScience, Innovation and Development of Lusofonia\u201d ended with the presentation of the Mindelo Declaration.<\/p>\n
