{"id":47680,"date":"2023-10-22T19:21:13","date_gmt":"2023-10-22T19:21:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/?p=47680"},"modified":"2023-10-22T18:18:23","modified_gmt":"2023-10-22T18:18:23","slug":"mpla-in-uige-supports-policies-for-the-countrys-development","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/all-news\/mpla-in-uige-supports-policies-for-the-countrys-development","title":{"rendered":"MPLA in U\u00edge supports policies for the country&#8217;s development"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Angola. <\/strong><\/span><b>The commitment of the MPLA president, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, to the country&#8217;s stability and socio-economic development policies was highlighted this Saturday, in the city of Ui\u0301ge, by the party&#8217;s first secretary in the region, Jose\u0301 Carvalho da Rocha.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>At the end of the march in support of President Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, the politician justified that this commitment allowed the implementation of several socio-economic projects in the country.<\/p>\n<p>As an example, he mentioned that the province of Ui\u0301ge benefited from several schools, hospitals, water supply systems for the population and other ongoing investments in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Jose\u0301 Carvalho da Rocha also highlighted, among other advances, the resumption of construction work on the Youth House, the Ui\u0301ge Media Library, the Quilomosso football stadium and the new Ui\u0301ge General Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>In turn, the MPLA&#8217;s first municipal secretary in Ui\u0301ge, Maria Fernando Cavungo, reaffirmed the party&#8217;s commitment to strengthening the social base, in order to respond to the political challenges that lie ahead.<\/p>\n<p>The march brought together hundreds of MPLA activists, friends and supporters, who walked through several streets in the province&#8217;s capital.
