Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>A financial education campaign in schools was opened Wednesday, in this city, by the Northeast Regional Delegation of the National Bank of Angola (BNA), aiming to educate students and teachers about the importance of savings.<\/b><\/p>\n

Called \u201cSavings Week\u201d, the activity was launched at the Patrice Lumumba primary school and will continue until the 31st of this month, at more educational institutions and the Malanje municipal market.<\/p>\n

The journey, which falls within the scope of the celebrations of World Savings Day, to be celebrated on the 31st of this month, aims to instill in teachers and students savings skills, financial decision-making practices, among other aspects of financial literacy.<\/p>\n

According to the head of the Financial Education Programs of the Northeast Regional Directorate of the BNA, Faustino Joa\u0303o, it is imperative to provide citizens and families with saving techniques and habits, especially money, so that their finances are controlled and balanced.<\/p>\n

When giving a lecture on \u201cFinancial Education and Savings\u201d, the person in charge added that the culture of saving becomes indispensable, especially in times of crisis, as needs are frequent.<\/p>\n

In turn, the director of the Patrice Lumumba school, Stela Maria, considered the lecture to be an added value due to the teachings given to the students, highlighting that educating children from an early age about financial education, makes the citizen an honest manager of the resources available to them. your disposition.<\/p>\n

During the activity, financial education, savings in the social and economic life of the country, savings and investments and the relationship between money and citizens were addressed, among other topics.<\/p>\n

The World Savings Day day ends with a campaign to open bank accounts called \u201cBankita\u201d, \u201cKandengues\u201d and \u201cSimplificados\u201d, in the Malanje municipal market.<\/p>\n

The anniversary is celebrated on October 31st, with the aim of alerting consumers to the need to discipline the family budget and increase their savings.<\/p>\n
