{"id":48036,"date":"2023-10-26T17:43:15","date_gmt":"2023-10-26T17:43:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/?p=48036"},"modified":"2023-10-26T15:45:29","modified_gmt":"2023-10-26T15:45:29","slug":"cm-considers-proposed-national-security-law","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/all-news\/cm-considers-proposed-national-security-law","title":{"rendered":"CM considers proposed National Security Law"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Angola. <\/strong><\/span><b>The Council of Ministers (CM) considered, this Wednesday, in Luanda, for sending to the National Assembly, the proposal for a National Security Law.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The objective is to conform the current organization and functioning of the security system to the principles and standards established in the Constitution of the Republic of Angola.<\/p>\n<p>The document also takes into account the national and international context, thus guaranteeing national independence and sovereignty, defense and territorial integrity, the democratic rule of law, the security of populations and their property, as well as the protection of national heritage.<\/p>\n<p>Foreign policy<\/p>\n<p>In the chapter on Foreign Policy, at the meeting chaired by the President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourec\u0327o, bilateral cooperation instruments relating to the resolution that approves, for accession, the agreement establishing Africa 50 (Organization International Infrastructure Investment Fund).<\/p>\n<p>The legal instrument of cooperation aims to promote the development of infrastructure in Africa, with financing coming from diverse sources, including share subscriptions, loans and grants from African and non-African sources.<\/p>\n<p>The resolution approving the SADC Protocol for the Protection of New Varieties of Seeds (Right of Seed Breeders and Obtainers) was also considered.<\/p>\n<p>The document aims to stimulate seed reproduction and facilitate agricultural progress for the benefit of farmers in the region, allowing them to have access to a new range of improved crop varieties and, at the same time, contributing to the achievement of the regional objective of economic development and food security.<\/p>\n<p>The Resolution that approves the Agreement that establishes the Africa Finance Corporation &#8211; AFC, an African and multilateral financial institution, aims to respond to the lack of investment in infrastructure in Africa, with its portfolio of investment projects having as its scope the sectors of transport and logistics, energy, minerals and oil.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the Resolution approving, for adhesion, the Salamanca Declaration on Principles, Policies and Practices in the Area of \u200b\u200bSpecial Educational Needs was analyzed, with a view to guaranteeing inclusive education for children with disabilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\">Angola<\/a> Follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Angola.
