Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Mozambican specialist in people management, Mo\u0302nica Macamo said, this Thursday, in Luanda, that the procrastination in training staff, at PALOPS level, has contributed to the setback of companies in several aspects.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to the Mozambican specialist who addressed the topic \u201cPeople Management in PALOPS\u201d, during the 3rd Edition of the HR Forum Angola 2023, the procrastination in training qualified technicians is reflected in the massive importation of staff for foreigners and in the discontent of nationals that arises. a lower salary compared to an expatriate.<\/p>\n

In her view, after more than twenty years, the scenario remains the same, a situation that, according to the speaker, must be reversed by business leaders who have justified the lack of qualified staff in the country as a factor in the delay in the development of companies to community level.<\/p>\n

According to the Mozambican, PALOPS staff need opportunities to develop professionally.<\/p>\n

The creation of partnerships with universities with a view to preparing professionals was one of the points also defended by Mo\u0301nica Macamo, who said it was necessary to share knowledge with a focus on human development, starting with Universities.<\/p>\n

The Director of Management at the Brazilian Association of Human Resources, Marcelo Pirani, mentioned that the challenges of HR are to take care of people’s training and help them to be better.<\/p>\n

The event brings together national and foreign experts who debate the future of people management at the RH Angola 2023 forum. For two days they will analyze themes and tools relevant to the management of organizations’ human capital, as well as their influence on obtaining results that lead to the sustainability of companies.<\/p>\n
